OS VectorMap Local® (VML)
OS VectorMap products are designed as a backdrop map for GIS, websites mobile applications and print. They let patterns in your data and points on the map stand out. VectorMap Local provides accurate, backdrop level mapping designed to maximise value and customisation. Containing buildings and infrastructure, VectorMap Local gives the user detailed information where using high end mapping may not be necessary of feasible. VectorMap Local topographic features are representations of real-world objects, including buildings, roads, railways, rivers and land area. The data also includes features such as administrative and electoral boundaries, cartographic text and symbols. The mapping can be used at scales from 1:3,000 to 1:20,000.
OS 1:25 000 Scale Colour Raster
OS 1:25 000 Scale Colour Raster is the digital equivalent of the OS Explorer paper map series. The detailed representation of the countryside in a way that is easy to interpret makes it particularly suited for displaying environmental applications.
